About Me - My Story

My journey into healthcare began at just 15 years old when my mother, a dedicated hospice nurse, brought me along to her visits. I watched her connect with patients and families during some of life’s most difficult moments — offering comfort, listening with patience, and treating each person with dignity. Those moments shaped my understanding of care and inspired me to follow in her footsteps.

As the oldest of six in a blended family, I learned early how to manage responsibilities, solve problems, and balance the diverse needs and personalities of my family. Even as a kid, I was drawn to helping others — volunteering with hospice and at the local hospital long before I officially entered the field. Those early experiences taught me compassion, patience, and the importance of truly being present for people in need.

When my mom needed care herself, I experienced the other sidethe overwhelm of navigating the healthcare system, coordinating providers, and managing a home during a health crisis. I learned firsthand how much it means to have a steady, capable advocate by your side.
Over the years, I’ve held nearly every role in the senior care world — from hands-on caregiving to directing home care programs and working as a hospice liaison. I’ve helped families manage emergencies, plan long-term care, and guide their loved ones through delicate transitions.
